Piller occupies a unique position, being the only company to produce a range of rotary UPS and static UPS technologies, encompassing kinetic energy storage systems or batteries, ground power units and 50/60Hz frequency converters. With over 7000 kinetic energy storage devices and more than 6000 rotary UPS units up to 3000kVA installed, Piller has around 300 technicians taking care of clients in more than 40 countries.

About Piller

Piller fue fundada en Hamburgo en 1909 por el ingeniero alemán Anton Piller.

Piller goza de una posición relevante, al ser la única compañía que fabrica UPS de tecnología rotativa y estática, con sistemas de almacena-miento de energía cinético o baterías, unidades de alimentación en tierra y convertidores de frecuencia 50/60Hz.

Con una plantilla de unos 1000 trabajadores por todo el mundo, Piller tiene su sede en Osterode, cerca de Hanover, Alemania, cuenta con subsidiarias en Europa, América y Australasia.

En 2016, Piller adquiere el negocio y obligaciones de Active Power Inc., especialista en almacen-amiento con volantes de inercia.

El grupo Piller es propiedad en su totalidad del grupo industrial multidisciplinario de ingenierías Británico, Langley Holdings Plc.

En su sede en Osterode, cerca de Hannover, Piller ocupa en un espacio de 14-hectáreas donde fabrica, dispone de una zona para ensamblado y puede hacer pruebas, tanto en Alemania como en USA.
