New Managing Director for Piller Power India Pvt Ltd

Osterode, Germany – 9th November, 2022

Piller Power Systems, the German power protection specialist has promoted Shailendra Bais to Managing Director of Piller Power India Pvt Limited. He replaces Andrew Vellender, who had stepped up to Head of Aftermarket & Service for the Power Solutions Division of Langley Holdings.

Mr Bias is a power industry specialist with almost 20 years with Piller. Since 2015 he has been Head of Sales at the Indian subsidiary, successfully leading numerous mission-critical “firsts” for Piller in the sub-continent.

“Piller India continues to go from strength to strength and I am excited to be appointed Managing Director of the company. Our plans include expansion of Piller’s presence into new sectors, such as microgrids,” he says.

He is an expert in UPS MV (Medium Voltage) Hybrid IP bus configuration. He has overseen project successes he has overseen in the India market include the first MV IP bus solutions and the first 3.2MW single block MV UPS turnkey project.
